THOUSANDS of people across the Royal Borough enjoyed a day of activities at an Easter-themed fair.

The Clewer and Dedworth Easter Community Fair took place at The Pirate Park, Windsor, on Saturday, April 9.

Natalie Prince, one of the organisers alongside Cllr Amy Tisi and Lee Hibbard, said it was a “hugely successful” event.

“We had lots of volunteers who helped us, lots of councillors join in such as Carol, Wisdom De Costa and Helen Price along with the Optalis charity.

"More than 2,000 people came along all in the community spirit for fundraising for Clewer and Dedworth Christmas Lights and building a better community."

The fair featured over 30 artisan and craft stalls, a petting farm, an Easter bonnet competition and even a bouncy castle to keep the kids entertained.

The event raised more than £10,000 in total for small local charities as well as for the Clewer and Dedworth Community events organisation.

Donations came from Horler’s Estate Agents as well as Manni and Jazz Arora from Dedworth Food and Wine.
