CELEBRITIES have been spotted around Slough over the years.

Our readers shared some interesting stories on who they have seen in the town.

Geri Halliwell, Jimmy Carr and Faith Brown were some of the most spotted celebs by our readers.

Residents saw her in Tesco, she pulled up next to L’ren West in her car at a set of traffic lights.

And Simon Curtis claimed both Halliwell and George Michael went to the Red Lion in Langley together once.

Maz Hussain even caught a glimpse of the Spice Girls at Langley Harrow Market.

Joanna Brades was lucky enough to meet Queen legend, Brian May.

She said: “Used to come to the check out every two weeks, such pleasant humble man.”

And even royal family members have been seen around the area as Sarah Jones claimed she saw Prince Phillip in Woolworths with his security in the 80’s.

Rod-Karen Slattery explained: “Prince William getting a pizza in Slough hight Street. This is when he was at Eton College, his protection officers used to drive him to Slough to collect pizzas.”

Ice skating stars Torvill and Dean were seen skating into Slough ice rink by Pauline Humphreys.

And Michelle Horner added she’s met most of the Dancing on Ice professionals at the ice arena.

Zed Mac, who answered: “Prince Harry and William as kids in Blockbuster video, Paull Ross in the O2 shop and Faith Brown in the sorting office.”

And Zed isn’t the only one who’s spotted Faith Brown, as James Shiel added: “Faith Brown used to go to the Holy Redeemer church in Wexham Slough from time to time during the 80’s.”

Angela Deschacht said: “Faith Brown and her husband in Woodlands Bakery, in Langley, wwhere I used to work.”

David Mawson said he saw Dame Edna getting her nails done in Katie’s Nails.

It even seems like Sainsbury’s in Taplow was a popular spot for celebs as David Beckham, Nick Knowles and several England players were seen stocking up on food essentials.
