A BOWLS club was popping the champagne as it celebrated it centenary year.
Burnham Bowls Club held a reception at its club house on Saturday, April 23 with members past and present to mark the special occasion.
Everyone enjoyed a cold buffet and cake, which was cut by the president of the club, Jessie Clark.

The society saw it as an opportunity for old friends to meet up and new members to mingle.
And a slideshow of photos was shown with memories dating back to the 1920’s.
It has attracted new individuals and is now the home of Burnham Joggers, the local Men’s Sheds and Bucks Vision as associate members.

A spokesperson for Burnham Bowls Club said: “The club is also keen to welcome new members to the sport to enjoy exercise in the outdoors and make new friends.
“The club provides a friendly informal setting in which to learn a new sport.”
