Not that many Wetherspoons reach a 4/5 rating on Tripadvisor in general, but The Moon and Spoon in Slough is one of those to have done so.

Out of its 229 reviews 89 have been 'Excellent' with an additional 78 'Very Good'.

One reviewer wrote: "Fairly busy but that 'magic ingredient' of enough staff - and plenty of tables. We sat near the back - quieter and well-spaced. All of our various food orders arrived in quick time and were very happy with it."

The Old Manor

Moving over to Bracknell now there is The Old Manor which has managed to garner up a solid reputation.

Out of its 363 reviews 100 were rated as 'Excellent' with another 130 being 'Very Good'.

It seems to very much fulfill the Wetherspoons target of providing cheap, but solid food and drink.

One reviewer wrote: "Went for breakfast and it was a bargain! Drink and Wrap for less than £5! Happy days. Highly recommended."

The Hatchet Inn

The Hatchett Inn in Newbury is another Berkshire Spoons that has earnt a respectable reputation amongst those that have gone there.

Out of its 317 reviews, 71 were rated 'Excellent' and 128 were 'Very Good'.

Much of the praise went to the good value of the food and drink on offer.

One reviewer wrote: "Had a couple of lunchtime drinks on day one, then a brekky on the morning of day 2. Nice outside eating/drinking area, cheap brekky, but good brekky. beers OK but nothing to write home about."

Although it just has a mediocre rating rather than an outright bad one, The Hope Tap is rated amongst the worst Wetherspoons pubs in Berkshire.

Out of its 226 reviews, 41 of them are rated as 'Terrible' but most fall into the category of 'Average' with 57 featuring there.

One reviewer wasn't impressed by the place, writing: "I've been in some naff Wetherspoons in my time but this one is particularly rank. I imagine even the dregs of society avoid this dive most of the time. Soap in the toilets at least."

Windlesora

Tripadvisor rating: 3.5/5

Although The Hope Tap is the worst-rated Spoons in Berkshire, Windlesora is definitely on the lower end of the spectrum of the Spoons that reached a 3.5/5 in the county.

Most recent reviews have not been complimentary, with one saying the place was in "need of a revamp".

One reviewer wrote: "Drinks on special where not in stock ( managers error again) food was cold and came to the table wrong undercooked and overcooked what a shambles not the only customer to complain. Please all just go to the King & Castle."
