The Royal Windsor

The Royal Windsor, provides idyllic views of Windsor Castle from its beer garden as you enjoy classic pub food.

One customer said: “Lovely pub just underneath the Castle, a really nice section which looks more like a restaurant, and another "pubby" section with screens showing football and tables for food.

“Very impressive decor, lovely food, average pub prices.”

 

The Pinkneys Arms – Maidenhead

This independently run free house, in the heart of Pinkneys Green, has something for everyone.

From open fires, rolling lawns, trendy tents and three bars, you’ll find it at The Pinkneys Arms, including a secluded beer garden.

And it must be good as one customer said: “It was quiet which suited us and they are also dog friendly.
“We had some fantastic food which was great value, attentive service and felt very welcome – definitely coming back again soon.”

The Wheatsheaf – Slough

The Wheatsheaf pub in Slough boasts a pretty garden with covered seating.

One happy customer said: “The customers, the staff and the landlord (Leonard) made myself and my girlfriend feel very welcome and like we'd been regulars for years.

“I can't fault this venue for the friendly reception we received upon arrival.
“The Beer Garden is pleasant, well looked after and generally a nice place to be.”

Another said: “Lovely traditional local pub, with excellent beer garden, friendly staff, and relaxed atmosphere.”

 

The Herschel Arms -  Slough

This Irish pub is certainly popular with the locals.

One Google review said: “As always, the Herschel Arms was a friendly, cheerful pub and Tom, the landlord is a fantastic friendly and generous host.

“Always visit when in Slough as it’s the best pub in Slough.”

And another customer added: “Absolutely fantastic beer garden, an oasis of calm and relaxation.

“We really enjoyed a lovely afternoon there and will visit again as soon as possible.

“The people there are friendly and jolly and the place its self is cosy very clean and tidy.”

 

The Blackwood Arms - Burnham 

The Blackwood Arms in Common Lane, Burnham, was recently shortlisted in the 'Best Destination Pub' category in the Muddy Stilettos 2022 awards.

It is a dog and horse-friendly country pub with grassy garden and a British and European food menu.

One Google review said: Very friendly staff, a good choice of beers and lagers, lovely food.

“They have two beer gardens, front and back, and a marquee out the back for additional eating options.

Another said: “First time visiting, popped in for lunch and what can I say, it was fantastic.

“Beautiful garden, views of the countryside, service impeccable and food to die for.”
