THE renowned Lancaster Bomber was spotted by residents as it flew over Slough.
The most famous RAF heavy bomber of World War Two was captured on camera in the glorious sunshine on Sunday, May 22 shortly at around 11.15am.
Photographs show the majestic aircraft gliding above the town.
Lancasters were the iconic British Second World War heavy bomber plane.

Slough local Marrisa Gatt went outside to take photographs of the Lancaster Bomber as it flew over her house.
She said: “We heard it first and then saw it coming over.
“The sound was phenomenal and gave myself and my partner goosebumps.”
She added it’s not something you get to see being that it is only one of two flight worth Lancaster’s left.
She said: “It was an amazing sight to witness, such a historical and important plane flying overhead and I felt very proud to be British.”
