Two people have been arrested after an altercation between a group of men in the early hours of the morning.

One man, aged in his thirties, was taken to hospital for head injuries following reports of an assault on Chalvey Road East at around 3.30am on Sunday, June 26.

A police cordon was put in place between the scene of the altercation to College Avenue, but it has now been lifted.

A Thames Valley Police spokesperson said: “We received a report from South Central Ambulance Service of an assault at around 4.15am this morning (26/6).

“A group of men were reported to have been involved in an altercation on Chalvey Road East, Slough, at around 3.30am.

“One man, aged in his thirties, suffered head injuries and was taken to Wexham Park Hospital for further treatment – he has since been discharged.

“Two men, aged 30 and 44, both from Slough, were arrested on suspicion of affray and remain in police custody.

“A police cordon was put in place in Chalvey Road East from Martin Road to College Avenue but has since been lifted.
