A FUNFAIR, live music and a classic car display were all part a successful carnival in Langley.
The Langley Carnival made its return to Langley Memorial Ground yesterday (July 9) after it was cancelled for the last two years due to Covid.
More than 30 stalls were on display for families to find out more about the various local groups in the area.
Elizabeth Barnett, chairman of the carnival said: “The carnival went well, beautiful weather and we had a steady flow of friendly people throughout the afternoon
“We had fewer stalls as some groups have still not returned to normal but the 35 who were there raised money for their groups or made people aware of their services.”

Solutions for Health were also in attendance doing health checks throughout the day.
And thanks to Tesco Bags for Help the carnival was able to have Basil’s farm and Cookie the Clown.
Slough MP Tan Dhesi and the Mayor and Mayoress were welcomed with live music from CAST academy and James Gibbons.
Ms Barnett added: “Many of the local shops donated raffle prizes and Langley Leisure Centre donated a membership.
“Unfortunately, we were let down with the arena events Covid and other commitments at the last minute.”
