Berkshire has been plagued by a number of unrelated stabbings in recent months. 

Earlier this year, this newspaper brought you a list of all the stabbings we had been made aware of from the start of 2022 to the middle of May. 

You can read that piece here.

We’ve now updated this list to bring you our list of recorded stabbings up to the middle of July. 

Here is a map of where the stabbings have taken place. 

Man stabbed in the legs - May 2022

A man was stabbed twice in the legs after being attacked by a group of people at a park in May. 

The 28-year-old victim’s injuries were not life-threatening, however, and he has since been discharged from hospital following the incident, which took place in the early hours of May 28. 

According to Thames Valley Police, the assault occurred shortly after midnight in Cedar Road at the junction of Linden Road, before it progressed into Shinfield Road Recreation Park. 

Langley stabbing - May 2022

A man in his sixties suffered 'life-changing injuries' after he was stabbed in Langley on May 22.

Thames Valley Police officers were called to Market Lane at 1.20am.

The victim was taken to hospital and said to have suffered 'life-changing injuries', according to TVP.

Ben Donnelly, 28 of Scholars Walk in Langley, was later charged with attempted murder and possession of an offensive weapon in a public place.

He was set to appear at Reading Crown Court in June. 

Man stabbed and punched in the face - June 2022

A MAN was 'stabbed' and punched in the face in Slough after two attackers followed him to his home address.

The incident happened at around 2.45pm on June 22 on Brook Path.

The victim, a man in his 40s, suffered a slash to his arm which was thought to be a stab wound.  

He had hospital treatment and has since been discharged.

The first offender is described as a black man in his 30s, wearing black trousers and a black t-shirt. 

He was over 6ft tall and of a muscular build.

The second offender is described as a black man in his 30s, wearing a black t-shirt and light-coloured cargo trousers with short dark hair.

Slough pub stabbing - June 2022

An investigation is ongoing following a stabbing near a Slough pub.

On Wednesday, June 29, a man was walking back from a shop on Stoney Mead when he was followed by three men onto Court Farm Close.

The victim, in his 20s, was attacked near to the Earl of Cornwall pub, on Cippenham Lane.

And he was then stabbed several times to the arm and back on Court Farm Close.

The victim was taken to hospital where his injuries were seen as not life-threatening.

The investigation is ongoing as of July 5. 

The first offender was described as a black man in his early 20s, around 5ft 9ins tall, wearing a black fleece with Nike Tec in grey, black Airforce 1 trainers, and a balaclava.

The second attacker was also a black man, around 5ft 11ins to 6ft tall, wearing a black zip-up Nike jacket, with a balaclava and hood up, grey tracksuit bottoms, and black Airforce 1 trainers.

And the third offender was described by police as wearing a cap, a cream jacket and blue jeans.

He had a black bike with him, which had a white carrier bag or similar on the right handle.

Bike rider stabbed

An 18-year-old man from Wokingham has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.

The news comes after a man, also aged 18, was rushed to hospital with serious injuries after receiving stab wounds to the chest on the Kennet towpath near Avon Place, according to Thames Valley Police.

Slough Observer:

The alleged victim was on a bike at the time of the incident. 

The arrested man is also suspected of possessing cocaine with intent to supply and remains in custody.

Detective Chief Inspector Dave Turton said: “Our investigation into this assault is continuing and we have made an arrest in connection with it.”

The wounded man has since been discharged from hospital.

Church stabbing - July 2022

A woman has been released from hospital after being stabbed in the neck in the town centre. 

The incident occurred at around 7.30pm by St Mary’s Church on Chain Street on Monday, July 4, when a man attacked the woman, who is in her forties, on a bench.

Police say the woman knew the man, who is described as white, in his forties, with dark hair and wearing a black headband and a tracksuit. 

The victim suffered a stab wound to the neck and was taken to Royal Berkshire Hospital for further treatment – she has since been discharged.
