A DANISH bakery is gearing up to open its doors in Windsor next week.

Ole & Steen, an all-day bakery, is set to welcome visitors to its new branch in Windsor Yards on Thursday, August 4.

Danish pastries, Ole & Steen’s famous Socials, authentic breads and fresh lunches will all be on offer to customers seven days a week.

To mark the new opening, Ole & Steen will hide bunches of flowers in streets and parks around the bakery.

Anyone who finds the flowers will also receive a series of lucky envelopes containing various prizes.

These prizes will include a ‘Guld Kort’ (gold card), worth £250 to spend in Ole & Steen, 10 times best0selling Socials, 19 times Social slices and 20 free hot drinks.

The new spacious and pet-friendly bakery, seating 82 people in total inside and outside, will offer its full menu of Danish brea including different types of Rye Loaf and Danish loaves.

It will also provide lunches from salads to Smørrebrøds, drinks and sweet treats, including the famous Cinnamon Social.
