A DRIVER leaving a pub in Maidenhead with no lights on has been arrested by police.
Police confirmed they noticed the driver was drunk, arrested them, and blew 64 in custody.
The driver has been charged to court, according to Thames Valley Police.
On the same night, in Slough, officers also confirmed another vehicle was stopped.
They explained insurance checks were all in order but the driver provided a positive drug wipe for cocaine and was arrested.
They have been released under investigation pending blood results.
TVP Roads Policing stated: "On the road, alcohol & drugs are one of the leading causes of collisions, leading to many injuries and deaths.
"Not only do you put yourself at significant risk, but also other road users. Our message is simple #ItsNotWorthTheRisk."
