A Coldstream Guard was found ‘hanging’ in Windsor Great Park, a court has heard.
Adam Hall, 29, was serving at the Victoria Barracks in Windsor at the time of his death on July 13, 2022.
The infantry soldier was found deceased at Queen Anne’s Ride at Windsor Great Park.
At the opening of the inquest into his death, senior Berkshire coroner Heidi Connor said a post-mortem had been carried out following Hall’s passing.
It revealed the cause of death was suspension by ligature.
No date was set for the inquest to take place as Hall’s death is still being investigated by authorities.
Ms Connor paid her condolences to Hall’s family and friends at the hearing at Reading Town Hall on Wednesday, August 3.
