A new bakery has popped up right in the heart of Windsor town centre and people are raving about it.
Ole and Steen, the all-day bakery from Denmark, opened on Thursday, August 4, to hundreds of Windsor residents and tourists.
Customers were excited to see their vast array of cakes and savoury snacks, including the variety of their famous homemade breads.

The bakery, located on Bridgewater Way in Windsor Town Centre organised a special surprise for customers to celebrate the opening. 50 bouquets of yellow flowers were hidden across Windsor that each represented a very special treat at the bakery.
One lucky winner even found a ‘Guld Kort’ which worth a whopping £250.
Guy Bosworth, head of stores at Ole and Steen: “This will be our 21st store here in Windsor, and we’re super excited to come here, bringing our bakery to all of the residents and especially the tourists as well.
“I think it brings something very different to Windsor. We bring bakeries and coffee shops all together. You can come here if you’re a family at the weekend and want some brunch. Buy your bread for the weekend, or if you’re a tourist and you want to buy a coffee with that pastry we’re here directly by the train station.
One visitor, who popped in for a tasty treat said: “It’s exactly what the town needs. There are other café’s quite similar but nothing like this.”
