THREE people have been arrested in Windsor after a 'serious assault'.

Thames Valley Police said the attack happened on Wednesday, August 3, and as a result the trio were arrested as part of investigations.

A social media post from TVP Windsor said a suspect vehicle was sighted and caught by officers the following day.

Officers aid it used 'tactical pursuit and containment training' (TPAC) and as such it did not result in a police chase.

The social media post added officers were assisted by TVP roads policing, TVP Windsor and Maidenhead and Slough area colleagues.

The force said the three occupants were arrested and the vehicle was seized for forensics.
