A man has been arrested in Datchet after police received reports of supposed illegal activity and animal cruelty.
Thames Valley Police said in a social media post that offences included illegal hare coursing and criminal damage in the Ewelme area near Wallingford.
The arrest occurred on the morning of August 18 by the TVP rural crime taskforce.

The post on TVP Sloughs Facebook page said: “Following recent reports of illegal hare coursing & criminal damage offences in the Ewelme area near Wallingford the #TVPrural crime taskforce have arrested a male in the Datchet area this morning.
“2x vehicles seized as they have been used in crime! Suspects phone seized.”
Tough measures were put in place on August 1 2022 to tackle the 'cruel practice' of hare coursing. This is an illegal activity where dogs are used to chase, catch and kill hares.
According to the Home Office, anyone caught will now face an unlimited fine and up to six months in prison.
