The popular Berkshire theme park has submitted a certificate of lawfulness to find out if they can build a new rollercoaster without the need for planning permission.

The “duelling” rollercoaster could replace the existing Raft Racers attraction, next to the mansion which is not accessible by guests.

It could be 10.8 metres in height and could have a twin track, with two trams travelling in unison as if they were racing against one another.

Along with the rollercoaster, an operator's cabin, queue line, loading platform, and perimeter fencing could be included.
