A LOCAL charity is seeking donations of children’s pyjamas for Wexham Park Hospital.

Children’s Hospital Pyjamas is a UK charity dedicated to collecting new pyjamas for over 100 hospital’s children’s wards.

The charity hopes it can make children more comfortable and understands the added distress a hospital gown can have on an unwell child.

With Christmas just around the corner the charity is asking the public for donations of pyjamas aged from newborn to eighteen.

“No child wants to be in hospital at Christmas, and if they have to be, they want to be wearing brand new cosy PJs,” the charity states.

The public can get involved by donating money or pyjamas.

Mother Katie Brent said: “You could not begin to imagine how such a small gesture like this feels to someone stuck in hospital.

“My son’s pyjamas brought a smile to both our faces after three weeks as impatients. Thank you or all you do.”
