POPULAR bus routes across the Royal Borough will be temporarily changed to reflect changing passenger behaviours.

These interim changes, which include new timings and routes, will affect Thames Valley Buses, White Bus, and Bear Buses from Sunday, October 30.

The council said these changes are temporary while it works with operators and communities to establish a longer-term solution for the bus network from next April that reflects changing traveller habits.

Bus companies are facing financial hardships post-Covid as passenger numbers remain low compared to pre-pandemic levels and have been suffering from extra fuel and cost pressures.

To keep the subsidised routes going, for the time being, the council has invested extra money this financial year, with a few adjustments.

These are the bus routes affected by the temporary changes.
