Together they discussed their art, the methods they used to create the work, and what inspired them.

The Mayor of Slough Dilbagh Parmar said "I am very thankful to everyone that took part, including the art departments at the schools, the students, the Thames Valley Learning Partnership, and Wexham Park Hospital for supporting this competition and displaying some of the student artwork."

Arts and Creative Health Manager at Frimley Health Charity Emma Car who helped judge the competition was also present, along with TVLP Coordinator, Clare Matheson, and Lauren Boland, the TVLP Champion for St Joseph's Catholic High School.

TVLP Coordinator Clare Matheson, said "Art is something that can transcend boundaries and bring people together.

"The theme of love seems particularly relevant at the present time, when we need to come together to support each other and those in need, just as Wexham Park Hospital supports the many patients that come through their doors each year.

"Our students are extremely proud to have their art on display here and to help brighten up this area of the children's ward corridor."

The art will be permanently on display, enabling thousands of patients, carers, staff and visitors to view them over the coming months.
