Three local hotels have been awarded by the Good Hotel Award 2023.

Founded in 2014 the awards recognise those who 'strive for excellence within their field'.

With nearly 40,000 hotels in the UK, competition for the awards is touch, organisers say.

'Chosen for their room quality, service and value', Good Hotel Awards are bestowed upon those with high customer ratings/votes and are known as – the Blue Ribbon for Great Getaways™. 

The Good Hotel Awards are free to enter and entirely based on merit.

Here are the local winners.

Macdonald Windsor Hotel

Situated just two minutes from Windsor caste, Macdonald Windsor Hotel guests can enjoy a stay in the heart of the historic town. The hotel boasts 120 bedrooms and an award-winning restaurant. Dogs are also welcome when pre-booking.

It has been awarded the Blue Ribbon by the Good Hotel Awards, for its consistently high customer ratings.

The Runneymede-on-Thames Hotel and Spa

Runneymede-on-Thames is a modern hotel situated on the banks of the River Thames in Surrey. It is a 10-minute drive from Windsor, making it an ideal location to stay when visiting attractions such as Legoland and Thorpe Park. The hotel includes riverside dining options, an award-winning spa and a range of fun outdoor activities.

It has been awarded the Gold Seal by the Good Hotel Awards, for their 'room quality, service and value'.

Cliveden House

Cliveden is situated in Taplow, surrounded by scenic National Trust land and just a 20-minute drive to Windsor. The hotel has a variety of individually named guestrooms and luxurious suites. Guests are also given the option to book a private riverside cottage. 

It has been awarded the Blue Ribbon by the Good Hotel Awards, for its consistently high customer ratings.
