ON THE night of Sunday, October 2, Kyron Lee tragically died after a fatal attack that has rocked the area of Cippenham in Slough.

The 21-year-old had been cycling home when he was involved in a crash, before the fatal stabbing in Waterman Court.

An ongoing murder investigation has seen nearly a dozen arrests made in connection to the incident, with a trial date in some cases set for March 6, 2023. 

Kyron's family have spoken out about the incident, with his mum saying 'remember son I love you and you've always made me proud' in a touching tribute.

“Kyron was loved by so many and he was the kindest most loving genuine person," she added.

An emotional vigil was held on October 8, which saw over 150 people celebrate Kyron's life with balloon releases, fireworks, and shared memories.

In the two months since the incident, six men have been arrested and five men have been charged. Thames Valley Police this week issued an update on the multiple arrests.

Arrests include a 20-year-old man, from Slough, who was arrested on suspicion of murder and attempted murder. Police have confirmed he remains on police bail.

A 23-year-old man, from Slough, was arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender and perverting the course of justice and remains on police bail.

A 27-year-old man, from Slough, was arrested on suspicion of murder and attempted murder. He has since been de-arrested for murder but arrested for assisting an offender and perverting the course of justice. He is on police bail.

An 18-year-old man, from London, was also arrested for assisting an offender/perverting the course of justice and is on bail.

Two 18-year-old men, from Portsmouth, have been arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender. The force said both have since been released on police bail.

Five people have been charged in relation to the incident.

These include Mohammed Elgamri, aged 18, of Carter Close, Windsor, and a 17-year-old from Slough, who can’t be named for legal reasons. Both have been charged with one count of murder.

Yakoub Tarafi, aged 18, of Upton Road, Slough, has been charged with two counts of assisting an offender.

Khalid Nur, aged 20, of Graylands Close, Slough, has been charged with one count of murder, and one count of disguising criminal property. He has been remanded in custody to appear in court at a later date.

Yaqhub Mussa, aged 21, of Daylesford Grove, Slough, has been charged with one count of murder. He has been remanded in custody to appear in court at a later date.
