A GRADE II listed hotel next to Windsor Castle is being refurbished to restore the hotels's famous façade.

From January to May, The Castle Hotel Windsor façade will be completely transformed with new rendering and mortar, new signage, roof repairs and the front of the hotel will also be re-painted.

Within the hotel, plans involve a total redesign of 25 bedrooms including all junior suites in the Mews and to the street-facing bedrooms, an extension to the hugely popular Leaf garden and some enhancements to public areas around the restaurant.

The hotel and Leaf restuarant will remain open whilst works are carried out.

Guests can enjoy the new Veganuary menu or indulge in the new Royal Afternoon Tea.

General Manager Sam Goss said: “We are really excited to progress into this next chapter of The Castle Hotel under our new identity, The Sutton Hotel Collection.

"We had a hugely successful 2022, relaunched the hotel as an independent hotel and became the Number 1 hotel on TripAdvisor based on traveller feedback.

"It is a testament to the hard work of the team that this success has translated into a sizeable investment back into the hotel and into the Windsor community”.
