THE body of a man has been discovered in a shipping container in Slough.
Thames Valley Police were called to a field on the outskirts of the borough after they were notified of the person being found by a member of the public on February 4.
Officers attended the scene just before midnight, on an area of land near Uxbridge Road, where the body was found in an abandoned container.
A spokesperson, for Thames Valley Police, said: “Officers were called to reports of a body being discovered in a shipping container.
“Officers attended and sadly found a deceased man in his sixties.
"At this time the death is being treated as unexplained but no suspicious circumstances have been identified and we are preparing a file for the coroner.
“Officers at this time have been unable to trace the man’s next of kin, but enquiries are ongoing in relation to this."
