Windsor Great Park has been named the most popular free location to visit in the UK and the third most instagramable free attraction, according to a recent study.
Outdoor experts GO Outdoors took a closer look at the top destinations across the UK with the best family attractions.
With its acres of gorgeous and sweeping parkland to the brand-new play park set to open this year, it is not surprising that 66,900 people have posted family pictures within the great park on the social media app.
As a tourist attraction that is open to the public 365 days a year, the park welcomed a total of 5.4 million visitors in 2021.
Located in Windsor and Maidenhead, this much-adored park harbours royal history spanning over 1,000 years.
The stunning outdoor location conceals ancient forests, rare wildlife and magnificent historical monuments making it a wonderful cheap day out for the whole family to enjoy.
