Slough turned out for a day of Coronation celebrations last weekend.
On Sunday, May 7, Slough BID hosted a King's Coronation Street Party from 12pm to 4pm in the Town Square.
The streets were lined with festive bunting, creating a celebratory atmosphere for the party.
Royal Acts, Street Performers and a Brass Band performed to the public.
Meanwhile Slough’s very own Marinela and Ovais from the Arts Classes Group worked with Slough BID to provide crown decorating, ceramic painting and foam animal painting activities for the children.
A variety of food and drink was also on offer from local businesses, including RKM Coffee who served a desi barbecue in the Town Square for the community to enjoy.
Families with children, young adults and the elderly all took part in the celebrations.
In preparation of the event, Slough BID said: “The celebration will be a testament to the pride and unity of the people of Slough Town Centre.”
