A NUMBER of people were jailed this week at Reading Crown Court after appearing in front of a judge.

Here is some of the people who were jailed this week:

TWO men who kidnapped a woman and forced her to perform oral sex on them by threatening her with a heroin injection have been jailed.

Kasra Esmaelie and Aziz Nasser, both 25, were found guilty after a trial at Reading Crown Court of five counts between them of rape, sexual assault and assault by beating after the incident on September 3, 2021.

The pair were found guilty of all five counts. Both were charged on count one and two of rape, Nasser was charged with count three of sexual assault and count four of assault by beating, and Esmaelie was charged with count five of assault by beating.

At the same court on Friday (June 9), the pair were sentenced to 13 years and 10 years respectively.

HOSTEL workers in Slough were frightened after a drunk resident tried to break into the staff room, a court has heard.

Philip Byrant was charged with racially aggravated behaviour and criminal damage of a door after an angry outburst at Look Ahead Hostel in Burlington Road on May 13 last year.

Reading Crown Court heard today (June 8) that the 62-year-old caused £1,194 of damage to the staff room after trying to kick through it, frightening the female employees on site at the time.

He was jailed for 21 days by Judge Nicholas Wattam for the offence to run concurrently with a prison sentence he is already serving in Bullingdon.

A PAEDOPHILE has been jailed for more than two years after forcing a nine-year-old child to watch him masturbate.

Timothy O’Reilly, of Holmlea Road, Datchet, was charged with two counts of intentionally causing a child under the age of 12 watch an image of person, himself, engaging in sexual activity between July 1, 2020 and August 8, 2020.

The 34-year-old was also charged with two counts of causing/inciting a child to engage in sexual activity and one count of engaging in sexual communication with a child between the same dates.

At Reading Crown Court on Monday (June 5), Judge Kirsty Real sentenced O’Reilly to 26 months imprisonment.

A MAN has been jailed for three and a half years after sexually assaulting and strangling a teenager in Reading.

Adam Gerezgher, 28, of no fixed abode, was jailed after being found guilty by unanimous jury verdict of one count each of sexual assault, intentional strangulation and committing an offence with intent to commit a sexual offence.

A verdict was delivered after a week-long trial at Reading Crown Court in March which heard the incident happened at about 1am on October last year 8.

Judge Hassan Khan sentenced Gerezgher on Monday (June 5) to three and a half years imprisonment on the count of sexual assault.
