TRAINS into London Paddington are being disrupted after a vehicle crashed into a bridge this morning (July 17).
A vehicle crashed into a bridge in Hanwell this morning, causing railway distruption on the Elizabeth Line and London Paddington services to Slough and Reading.
A notice on National Rail says lines have now reopened after the collision but trains between London Paddington and Slough may still be delayed, cancelled or terminated.
Affected routes:
- Elizabeth line between Abbey Wood and Reading/Maidenhead
- Great Western Railway between London Paddington and Didcot Parkway / Reading

Elizabeth line tickets are being accepted on the London Underground; London Buses and local buses between London Paddington and Heathrow/Reading; South Western Railway services between London Waterloo and Reading; Great Western Railway between London Paddington and Reading; Thameslink between Abbey Wood and Farringdon; and Docklands Light Railway.
