A boy has sadly died in Slough after police were called to a fear for welfare incident.

At around 9am on Wednesday, September 6, South Central Ambulance Service and Thames Valley Police responded to a welfare issue in Humber Way, Slough, concerning a child.

Residents reported seeing an air ambulance, ambulance and police cars at the scene.

Speaking on the incident, a Thames Valley Police spokesperson said: “Sadly, the seven-year-old boy died after being taken to hospital.

“His next of kin are aware and are being supported by officers.

“The death is being investigated as an unexplained but non-suspicious and a file will be provided to the coroner.”

The family has asked for privacy at this time.
