A murder probe has been launched in Slough after a teenager suffered a fatal stab wound over the weekend. Tributes have been laid by family and friends at the scene and a fundraiser has been launched to raise money for his funeral.

Residents are being warned of works due to begin on a historic bridge. Cookham Bridge will be closed to motorists for 20 weeks from October 16. A diversion route has been put in place. Pedestrians and cyclists will be able to cross the bridge on foot.
