A new Czech restaurant is to open in Maidenhead's newly developed Waterside Quarter.

ToMo Tankovna is a Czech restaurant and bar serving European cuisine and fresh beer.

It will join the likes of El Cerdo, Coppa Club and Sauce and Flour in the new hub of eateries on High Street.

The Waterside Quarter made the announcement sharing: "A taste of Czech hospitality and fresh beer culture is coming soon to Waterside Quarter, Maidenhead.

"Get ready to experience the authentic Czech spirit as ToMo Tankovna is soon to join us. The team are hard at work, preparing to bring something truly special to the community."

ToMo Tankovna promises table service and the experience of sitting back, relaxing and enjoying quality time with friends and family.

A spokesperson for Tomo Tanovna said: "Our restaurant embraces Czech beer culture, providing seamless service making our customers’ visits as enjoyable as possible.

"This venture is a family one, with the name a combination of our founders Tomasz and Monika.

"We have an excellent head chef, formerly using her culinary expertise in the revered Fat Duck, and a knowledgeable bar manager, who has worked closely with Budvar for many years.

"He will be a staple behind the bar, ready to answer all the much anticipated questions about why our beer is poured the way it is, and the history behind it all."

An opening date has not yet been announced but the owners are working hard to open in the next few months.
