A boy has needed stitches to the leg after being chased by a machete-wielding individual through Slough.

It comes as two unrelated incidents across Slough have triggered Thames Valley Police to enact a Section 60 stop and search order.

At approximately 3:20pm on Tuesday, November 21, police received reports that a 16-year-old boy was chased by an offender with a machete-type knife in Church Lane, Slough.

The incident is being treated as affray and GBH.

A Thames Valley Police spokesperson said: "We believe these people are known to one another.

"Anybody who witnessed the incident is asked to contact Thames Valley Police on 101, quoting reference 43230524218."

The victim received cuts to his leg requiring stitches.

Two people have been arrested in connection with the incident and are currently in police custody.

Later that evening at 7pm a man in his 60s was assaulted by a group of young men in Langley Memorial Ground.

The offenders are all described as white and aged in their mid-teens and wearing hooded tops and tracksuits. No arrests have yet been made and investigations are ongoing.
