Two people have been left with head injuries after an assault in a grocery store.

At around 11.50pm on Monday, November 27, an offender entered Zak Food and Grocery on High Street and became aggressive towards a member of staff.

They then assaulted a member of the public, which escalated into an affray involving several people.

Officers attended and arrested two men, aged 21 and 42, both from Slough, on suspicion of Section 18 wounding.

They were both taken to hospital for head injuries but have since been discharged and taken into police custody, where they remain.

No one else was injured.

Detective Constable Gemma Thompson, of CID, based at Slough police station, said: “I am appealing for witnesses to any part of this incident to please come forward.
