An inclusive and sustainable business hub has opened in Slough.
The Plus X Innovation Hub, a collaborative workspace for businesses, has launched at The Future Works office building in Slough.
It brings together a combination of coworking, offices, and a state-of-the-art workshop and photography studio.
Members will also have access to business support programmes.
Developed in partnership with property investment management company AshbyCapital, the three-storey space boasts over £300,000 worth of specialist equipment.
The space hopes to host regular networking events and support clinics.
Mat Hunter, Co-CEO of Plus X Innovation said: "There is clearly an extraordinary growth mindset in Slough and we want our hub to help innovative businesses to be part of this.
“Its demographic and geographic advantages make Slough a great place for us to open our latest Plus X Innovation hub."
At the launch event on Tuesday, November 28 the winner of the Plus X Innovation Trailblazer competition was announced after four local entrepreneurs provided business pitches.
Kashish Agarwal won the competition and £2,000 to spend at Plus X Innovation for his Cricket AI product to help players choose the perfect bat for their individual swing.
He said: "I want to use the prize money to develop the prototype in the hub’s workshop to take it to the mass market, and will also use the media suite to build a campaign introducing this product to the world."
