Thames Valley Police are appealing for witnesses of a moped robbery after a man was punched in the back of the head and pushed to the ground.

The incident happened just past 9:30 pm on Thursday, November 23 at the junction of Burlington Avenue and The Crescent.

The victim, a man in his thirties, was walking with his dark blue moped on the pavement and was approached by another man.

After stumbling forward, the suspect picked up the moped and walked with it towards Burlington Avenue in the direction of Bath Road.

Case investigator Shan Ugra, based at Slough police station, said: “I am appealing to anybody who witnessed this robbery to please get in touch with Thames Valley Police.”

The suspect was described as a 5ft 10ins black man with a round oval face and black braided hair.

Inspector Shan Ugra added: “You can do so by making a report online or by calling 101, quoting reference 43230526756.

“Alternatively, for anonymity, you can call the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

“If you were driving in the area and have any dash-cam footage that has captured the incident, please get in touch with us.”
