A 20-year-old man has been found not guilty of manslaughter following the tragic death of a man in Slough.

Maciej Laskowski, 20, of Wiltshire Avenue, Slough was charged with manslaughter on May 30 2023 after initially being arrested on suspicion of murder.

Following a trial on December 6, he was acquitted of the charge.

Officers found Marek Laskowski unresponsive at the junction of Sheffield Road and Northampton Avenue on February 24, 2022. He tragically died following his discovery.

Detective Inspector Alice Broad, the Senior Investigating Officer, said: “This was a very tragic case and our thoughts remain with all those affected.

“The criminal case has now concluded, and details have now been passed to the coroner."
