Herschel Park, Slough

Slough Observer:

Located close to the town centre, Herschel Park is a smaller toddler-friendly park with a lake in the middle and a nature reserve at the back. Spanning 3.5 hectares, the park is Grade II listed and described as a 'hidden gem'. In recent years the park has been restored to its former Victorian glory with a £2.7million funding from the Heritage Lottery and Big Lottery Fund and support from the friends and volunteers of the park. There are entrances from Upton Close, Upton Road or Datchet Road through the nature reserve. And there’s a free small car park off Datchet Road.
