Nine amber flood alerts and one red alert remain in place across Berkshire as we head into the second week of flooding following Storm Henk.

In the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead, the Environment Agency has issued a flood alert for the River Thames from Hurley to Cookham.

The Environment Agency said: "River levels remain high on the River Thames, but are slowly beginning to fall in the Hurley to Cookham areas. Flooding of low lying land and roads is expected to continue."

River Thames for Shiplake, Lower Shiplake and Wargrave are also being closely watching, with the Environment Agency monitoring the situation.

They added: "We expect river levels to remain high over the coming days as water moves through the system."

Lower River Loddon at the River Thames confluence at Twyford also has a flood alert, but property flooding is "not expected".

Other flood warnings include River Thames from Mapledurham to Sonning, River Thames from Pangbourne to Purley and River Pang from East Ilsley to Pangbourne and Sulham Brook.

Reading residents are being warned of flooding of the River Kennet from Thatcham down to Reading.

A red flood warning alert has been placed on River Lambourn from Donnington to Newbury where "property flooding is expected to continue".

Flood alerts are also in place for other western waterways including for River Lambourn and its tributaries from Upper Lambourn down to Newbury and the River Kennet and its tributaries from Berwick Bassett down to Newbury.
