Two men have been charged in connection with a serious assault in Slough.

Tavinder Singh, 62, and Gurdave Rehsi, 34, both of Seacourt Road, Langley, were charged with one count each of wounding with intent, causing grievous bodily harm with intent, and possession of an offensive weapon in a public place on Friday, February 2.

The charges relate to an incident along the same road as their address on Wednesday, January 31, when two men were taken to hospital.

One with serious injuries and the other with minor injuries.

The person with serious injuries remains in hospital but the latter has been discharged.

Singh and Rehsi were remanded in custody and appeared at Slough Magistrates’ Court on Friday, February 2, where both men were released on conditional bail and are due to appear at Reading Crown Court on Tuesday, February 27.
