A much-loved ice cream brand stocked across dozens of locals supermarkets is set to serve customers in Windsor.
Years after shutting up shop in Windsor, Ben & Jerry's are making a return to Peascod Street.
In an application received by the local authority on February 5, Ben & Jerry's are seeking permission for an internal refit and replacement shopfront of the unit previously occupied by Auntie Anne's, next to Kokoro.
They added: "The existing shopfront is to be demolished and replaced. It is in a state of disrepair and its design is incongruous to the street scene and traditional design of local buildings."
Plans for the new shopfront feature black timber and a fully glazed shopfront. It is noted that the inside space is "fairly small" and an image of the interior shows minimal seating.
Ben & Jerry's have been contracted for comment.
