Slough's motorists will have eight road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.

But the news isn't too bad, with all of them only expected to cause slight delays, of under 10 minutes.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that four closures already in place are expected to carry on this month:

• M4, from 8pm July 12 2023 to 6am March 1 2024, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M4 both directions, junction 6 to junction 8/9, Lane closures for M4 Smart Motorways.

• M4, from 8pm January 9 2023 to 6am March 8 2024, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M4 westbound, junction 6, Lane closures for M4 Smart Motorways.

• M4, from 8pm November 10 2023 to 6am March 9 2024, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M4 eastbound, junction 5, Lane closures for M4 Smart Motorways.

• M4, from 8pm July 31 2023 to 6am March 9 2024, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M4 eastbound, junction 6, slip road closure for M4 Smart Motorways.

And a further four closures will begin over the next two weeks:

• M25, from 10pm February 29 to 5am March 1, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 14 to junction 15, Lane closure for Camera maintenance.

• M4, from 11pm March 1 to 6am March 2, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M4 eastbound, junction 5 to junction 4B, Lane closures for lighting works.

• M4, from 8pm March 4 to 6am March 7, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M4 eastbound, junction 5 to junction 6, Lane closures for M4 Smart Motorways.

• M4, from 8pm March 4 to 6am March 7, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M4 westbound, junction 5 to junction 6, Lane closures for M4 Smart Motorways.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
