Commuters are experiencing heavy traffic this morning as temporary traffic lights hold up vehicles at Maidenhead Bridge.
Buckinghamshire Council have granted permission for Openreach to carry out utility repair and maintenance works on the Bath Road in Taplow.
The work began at 9pm on Monday, February 26 and is due to last until midnight on Thursday, February 29.
Two-way traffic lights are limiting the flow of traffic over and up to the bridge, with commuters experiencing delays of 10 to 15 minutes in peak rush hour on the Bath Road, Ray Mead Road and Bridge Road.
Traffic over the bridge has increased since October with Cookham Bridge closed for "essential maintenance" which is due to be completed next month.
