The mayor of Slough has been once again showing his unwavering support for key organisations in the local community.
Councillor Amjad Abbasi recently visited Slough Anti-Litter Society Event at Bath Road Slough where he spoke to members about the valuable work that they do for the town.
In a recent post to social media, the mayor posted several photographs of himself and society members.
Along with the various pictures, Councillor Amjad Abbasi also said the following:
"The worshipful the Mayor of Slough Cllr Amjad Abbasi Attending Slough Anti-Litter Society Event at Bath Road Slough."
The society is a group of people who live and work in Slough and want to make a positive difference to the environment and the local community.
They combat the litter problems in Slough by bringing people together for Clean-up, Reduce, Re-use, and Upcycling events, and won’t stop until Slough is clean and green.
