A man has been charged in connection with an assault and theft at an Esso garage.
Lewis Leighton, aged 18, of Dedworth Road, Windsor, was charged with one count each of assault with intent to commit robbery, theft and attempted robbery on Thursday February 22.
The charges relate to an assault and attempted robbery at the Esso garage on Dedworth Road shortly after 4 pm on February 21.
The victim, a man in his twenties, received injuries to his face but did not require medical treatment.
Leighton was also charged with one count of possession of a controlled drug of class B, namely cannabis. This is in relation to a warrant executed at an address in Dedworth Road on February 21.
Leighton appeared at Milton Keynes Magistrates’ Court on Friday February 23, where he was released on conditional bail to appear at Aylesbury Crown Court on March 26.
