A MAN from Slough has been arrested after two cars were involved in a crash yesterday afternoon.

Thames Valley Police received a report of a crash on Eton Wick Road at about 12.45pm on Saturday, March 16, involving a light blue estate and a small silver car.

The driver of the silver car was taken to hospital with serious injuries, where they remain at this time.

Police have arrested a 28-year-old man on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving, dangerous driving, failing to stop after a road accident, going equipped for theft of a motor vehicle and theft of a motor vehicle.

He remains in custody at this time.

Investigating officer PC Anthony Gibson, of the Joint Operations Roads Policing Unit, said: “We are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed this incident to please come forward.

“Additionally, we’d ask any motorists with dash-cams who were in the local area around the time of the incident to check footage in case they may have captured something that could help our investigation.
