Thames Hospice is thrilled to announce its Open Water Swim event is back and the perfect challenge for everyone of all levels to take the plunge and raise vital funds for the Hospice.
In partnership with Bray Lake Watersports this exciting event takes place on Sunday June 9 at Thames Hospice, in Bray Lake.
Thames Hospice’s Speciality Doctor Dr Patrick Clarke embraced the thrill of the water in last year’s event.
He said: “I completed a 5km swim as part of Thames Hospice’s Open Water Swim Challenge. The event was extremely well organised and the lake was a fantastic place to swim.
“I will never forget the feeling of elation as I completed the distance. I will be doing it again this year with some of my Hospice colleagues.”
The charity’s Open Water Swim Challenge offers a range of distances from 500m to 10km, which participants can swim individually or part of a team.
