NOVEMBER '23

ADEL NAGYAPATI, 26, of Waylen Street, Reading, convicted of possessing a bread knife in public in Reading on June 19, 2022. Given a community order to carry out 80 hours of unpaid work in the next 12 months. Must also pay a £114 victim surcharge and £85 in court costs. Bread knife to be forfeited and destroyed.

HEIDI PROUT, 45, of The Haywards, Thatcham, convicted of drink-driving in Bath Road, Thatcham, on January 13, 2024. The proportion of alcohol in her breath was 91 microgrammes in 100 millilitres of breath. Disqualified from driving for 24 months. Given a community order to carry out up to 20 days of rehabilitation activities. Must also pay a £120 fine and a £114 victim surcharge.

DANIELLE HUTCHINS, 36, of Caversham Road, Reading, convicted of assaulting another by beating them at Reading on February 26, 2024. Also convicted of assaulting a police officer by beating them on the same day. Jailed for 12 weeks, suspended for 12 months. Made subject to a 12-month supervision order. Must carry out up to 25 days of rehabilitation activities. Must also pay the victims a total of £95 in compensation.

SIMON CROKE, 51, of Wordsworth, Bracknell, convicted of drink-driving in The Green, Bracknell, on December 9, 2023. The proportion of alcohol in his breath was 148 microgrammes in 100 millilitres of breath. Also convicted of failing to cooperate with a preliminary test on January 31, 2024. Also convicted of driving while disqualified in Farnham Road, Slough, on January 31, 2024. Also convicted of driving without third-party insurance in Farnham Road, Slough, on January 31, 2024. Jailed for 16 weeks. Also disqualified from driving for 62 months. Must also pay a £154 victim surcharge and £85 in court costs. Driving licence endorsed.

KIERAN KENTON, 20, of Rectory Close, Bracknell, convicted of failing to surrender to the authorities when required on February 14, 2024. Also convicted of using electricity without authority on December 18, 2023. Also convicted of damaging a ticket machine at Bracknell train station on December 16, 2023. Also convicted of damaging a sofa belonging to Bracknell Forest Council on December 18, 2018. Also convicted of obstructing an officer at Bracknell train station on March 23, 2023. Jailed for a total of six weeks. Must also pay £143.19 in compensation.

JAMES EL FEHLI, of no fixed abode, Slough, convicted of stealing six Barbour jackets to the value of £1,075 from Daniel Department Store in Maidenhead on March 12, 2024. Also convicted of stealing two Barbour jackets, a Gant jacket and a Gant shirt to the value of £863 from Daniel Department Store on March 10, 2024. Jailed for 12 weeks.

NATASHA MURRAY, 50, of Bath Road, Taplow, convicted of drug-driving in Lower Road, Cookham, on September 15, 2023. Was caught with cocaine in his system. Disqualified from driving for 12 months. Must also pay a £330 fine, a £132 victim surcharge and £85.

UMAR KHAN, 27, of Aldebury Road, Maidenhead, convicted of speeding at Gringers Hill, Maidenhead, on August 18, 2020. Drove at 38mph in a 30mph zone. Must pay a £64 fine and a £36 victim surcharge.

KENNETH HANNIGAN, 39, of Forest Road, Windsor, convicted of assaulting a police officer by beating them on February 25, 2024. Must pay a £450 fine, £85 in court costs, a £166 victim surcharge and £50 in compensation.

NASSIR SAID, 25, of Chalvey Grove, Slough, convicted of using violence to secure entry to a premises in Arborfield Close, Slough, on March 15, 2024. Jailed for two weeks. Also served a restraining order to not attend Arborfield Close.
