A man has appeared in court after he was found in possession of an imitation firearm.

On Sunday, May 19, police received calls about a man with a handgun in Albert Street at around 2:10pm.

Police attended the scene and arrested Jamal Haq, aged 32, of Windsor Lane, Burnham. He was later charged with possession of an imitation firearm in Slough on Monday, May 20.

Haq appeared before Reading Magistrates’ Court and has been granted conditional court bail to re-appear at the same court on July 15.
