Children and families are being invited to take part in a 'treasure hunt' on Langley high street.
The competition kicked off yesterday (June 29), and runs through to July 13.
It is being organised by the Arbib Education Trust, which runs the Langley Academy.
Shops and businesses are setting teddy bears at their windows for participants in the hunt to find.
Each teddy is associated with a word, which participants must note on a form available on the education trust's website.
The words all add up to a message.
In all, there are 16 bears to look out for.
Upon completion of the hunt, forms can be handed in at a stall at the Langley Carnival on July 13.
These will then be entered into a prize draw, with the winner announced at the event.
