The size of a huge project for hundreds of flats in Slough has been scaled back years after first emerged.
The development company Mackenzie Homes first submitted plans to build hundreds of new apartments at a commercial area in Bath Road back in December 2021.
The existing site is made up of partially vacant land that was occupied by car businesses, with the developers seeking to transform it into a residential area.
However, the project hasn't been given the go-ahead yet as it has gone through two revisions since it first emerged.
The latest iteration of the plans were submitted earlier this year.

The amount of apartments provided has been reduced from 301 to 231 flats.
Of those, Mackenzie Homes wants to provide 18 studios, 96 one-beds, 96 two-beds and 21 three-bed apartments.
The flats would be contained in two building clusters divided into sites 'A' and 'B', consisting of three blocks each.
The tallest of these will be nine storeys tall, which is smaller than an 11-storey tower originally submitted.
Future occupants would be able to make use of 168 car parking spaces and 247 bicycle storage spaces.
Notably, Mackenzie Homes has not specified how many of the apartments would be designated as affordable.
Justifying the revisions to the project, a planning agent from TP Bennett said: "The Mackenzie Homes revised proposal provides a development of high-quality design combining landscape and architectural design that enhances what is currently a large format building and surface car park with poorly defined street frontage producing an exemplar and comprehensive redevelopment to optimise the benefits to the residents.
"It is our opinion that the proposed development represents an efficient use and sustainable redevelopment of a brownfield site.
"We believe the Bath Road and surrounding residential streetscapes are enhanced by the contemporary design of the buildings with the articulation of the building facades and the careful mix and use of high-quality materials applied to the building."
The project would involve a substantial amount of demolition at 'Site B', which is occupied by two car rental companies with forecourts and a row of two storey terraces with commercial units at ground level and flats above them.
Site A would contain 131 flats, and site B would contain 100 flats.
The site itself is located near Cippenham Recreation Ground, the Bath Road Shopping Park and Burnham Train Station.
