A person has been airlifted to hospital due to an emergency at an industrial laundry site in Slough, according to a report.
The incident occurred at the Aeroserve industrial laundry business at the Slough Trading Estate at 4.45pm on Wednesday, August 21.
The company provides laundry services to airlines and hotels from its base along Malton Avenue in the estate.
A worker in the area said that an air ambulance and police officers were in attendance throughout the day.
After a period of closure during the incident, the worker said that staff went back to work at Aeroserve on Friday, August 23.
The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) is investigating the incident.
A HSE spokesperson said: “We are aware of the incident and making enquiries.”
A spokesperson for Slough Borough Council said that it is the responsibility of the HSE to enforce any health and safety legislation at Aeroserve under the Health and Safety at Work etc Act 1974.
More information has been requested from the HSE.
Attempts to reach Aeroserve over the phone proved unsuccessful.
Thames Valley Police and the South Central Ambulance Service have not provided information on the incident.
Aeroserve has been situated in Slough for over 20 years, establishing itself at the trading estate in 2003.
